Centrally located between Cleveland and Akron, Twinsburg is a suburb covering 13.8 square miles in northern Summit County and has been named among the best places to live in the United States by CNN Money Magazine! There is a wide variety of things to do in Twinsburg with its active Parks and Recreation programs, Community Fitness Center, Community Theatre, Water Park, Farmer's Market, trails, and more. One of the community's biggest claims to fame is the annual festival for twins, and other multiple births, called Twins Days. This festival started in 1976 with only 36 sets of twins, but now attracts approximately 3,000 sets attending each year, making it the largest annual gathering of twins (& other multiples) in the world! SCHOOLS: The Twinsburg City School District is a large suburban school district comprised of five schools, from primary school through high school supporting over 4,300 students. The Ohio Department of Education has designated Twinsburg City Schools as "Excellent" or "Excellent with Distinction" for seven consecutive years for academic achievement as documented on the state report card.
